BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:
Jennifer N. Cowan, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of illegal acquisition of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and theft, filed Dec. 12 by Butler Township police.
Jeremy Curtis, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of illegal acquisition of a controlled substance and conspiracy to acquire a controlled substance, filed Nov. 20 by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.
Randy W. Dimpfl, 37, of Baltimore, Md., pleaded guilty to a charge of false identification to law enforcement authorities, filed Jan. 2 by Butler Township police. Dimpfl was ordered to pay $433 in fines and court costs.
David S. Keffalas, 55, of Renfrew was held for court on charges of felons not to possess firearms, possession of prohibited offensive weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 3 by Butler Township police.
Kenny Ray Kuhns, 41, of Valencia waived to court charges of DUI, public drunkenness, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and a turning violation, filed Nov. 1 by Butler Township police.
Earl F. Laird, 33, of Worthington, Armstrong County, pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and trespass, filed Dec. 17 by Butler Township police. Laird was ordered to pay $1,130 in fines and court costs.
Jane E. Lyon-Brown, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road, filed Dec. 3 by Butler Township police.
Anthony D. Phillips, 18, of Butler waived to court charges of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 5 by Butler Township police.
Phillips, in a separate case filed Jan. 5 by township police, Phillips waived to court charges of theft of a vehicle, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Spencer L. Reed, 47, of Ligonier, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, filed Jan. 1 by Butler Township police.
Daniel W. Rice, 19, of Mars waived to court charges of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 5 by Butler Township police.
Amanda D. Smith, 25, of West Brownsville, Washington County, waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Dec. 3 by Butler Township police.
Smith, in a separate case filed Dec. 3 by township police, waived to court charges of retail theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.
