New York City residents Mindi Motko and Kerry Marisa were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Sept. 22 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Clarksburg, W.Va. The Rev. Charles McGinnis officiated. A reception followed at the Pete Dye Golf Club.
The bride is the daughter of David and Jo Renée Motko of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rudy and Jackie Marisa of Waynesburg.
The honor attendant was Lauren Motko of Shelby Township, Mich. Bridesmaids included Autumn Marisa of Conshohoken; Alissa Salsovic of King of Prussia; Kristen Holt of Raleigh, N.C.; Katie Hurley of Pittsburgh; and Jessica Kartalija of Baltimore. The flower girl was Kylie Marisa of Alexandria, Va.
Performing the duties of best man was Kent Marisa of Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. Ushers included Kurt Marisa of Alexandria; Kameron Marisa of McMurray; and David Watts, Donald Peele and Chris Avery, all of New York City. The ring bearer was Samuel Tackett of Butler.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School, a 2001 graduate of Penn State University and a 2007 graduate of New York University. She is employed by Lehman Brothers in New York City.
The bridegroom graduated in 1988 from Waynesburg High School, in 1992 from Marietta College and in 2002 from New York University. He is employed by American Express in New York City.
Following a honeymoon trip to Croatia and Montenegro, the couple is making their home in New York City.
