Dom Oliver scored a hat trick on two power play goals and one shorthanded tally as the Butler freshman hockey team defeated Pine-Richland 5-4 recently at the Ice Connection.

Troy Double added a goal and two assists for the Golden Tornado (5-5-1), with Corey Chuba netting a goal and an assist. Shawn Milkovich, Nick Whann and A.J. Ritenour each had an assist.

Goalie Mike Arturo made 19 saves and got defensive help from Derek Ritenour and Mitchell Cunningham.

Butler will compete in the Martin Luther King Holiday Tournament this weekend at Bethel Park BladeRunners.

n The Pittsburgh Huskies (5-6-3) continued to hold on to the final Pee Wee AAplayoff spot with a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Amateur Penguins. Jordan Krajnikovich, Tristan Ramage and Dustin Davis scored goals for the winners.

Goalie Clay Bachman made 24 saves. The Huskies face the Wheeling Nailers at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Valley Sports Complex in New Kensington.
