To you my dearest first son
It has been three years since I held you close and Jesus called you home.
I'm thankful you are with your earthly father also. You and your dad were so close in life. Before you were totally confined to your wheelchair,
Dad would lift you into his red pickup and you two were off. We then had to buy a van. For forty-seven years you handled your adversities with patience and love.
You didn't feel sorry for yourself. You made most of what you could do and that was to make people smile.
When your name comes up now people remember your beautiful smile, pleasant personality and your faith in God.
When I feel blue, I think how you are out of pain and happy with Jesus and Dad in heaven.
Now you and Dad pray for us down here. I keep remembering you are not gone only away for awhile.
So until we meet again we'll hold on to our memories and close family ties.
Your brothers Joe and Mike often mention some of the times they teased you but you could hold your own.
You are truly missed and dearly loved.
