Doutt, Baker

Jean and Travis Baker

Jean Doutt and Travis Baker, both of Sidney, Neb., were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. Theodore Martin officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium.

The bride is the daughter of Laura Daily and George and Reba Doutt, all of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas Baker of West Chester, Ohio, and Robert and Christine Shattenberg of Oil City.

The maid of honor was Chrissy Wilson of Denver, N.C. Bridesmaids included Tammy Pearson, Jodi Hobaugh, Traci Oesterling and Aura Keefer, all of Butler, and Janelle Baker of Chicago.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Rory McCook of Lebanon. Ushers included Brian Udick of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Lex Hochner of Houston, Texas; Andrew Koppler and George Doutt Jr., both of Butler; and Greg Brondberg of Chicago.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Butler High School. She is currently a student in the radiology program at Western Nebraska Community College. She is employed at First National Bank in Sidney.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Oil City High School and in 2000 from Sawyer Business School. He is employed at Cabela's Outdoor Adventures in Sidney.

Following a honeymoon trip to The Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Sidney.
