Olive R. Rodgers Dougherty, 91, of Saxonburg, formerly of Middlesex Township, died Thursday at the Saxony Health Care Center, Saxonburg.

Born May 30, 1916, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Herman and Margaret Newell Rogers.

She was a member of the Smiling Seniors of Holy Sepulcher Church and loved to play bridge.

She was the mother of Mary Zacherl of Clinton Township, Margaret Clark of California, Elizabeth Spohn of Herman, Lois Duncan of Texas and Richard Dougherty of Middlesex Township; and the sister of Grace and Peggy. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of Charles K. Dougherty, who died April 6, 2001. She also was preceded in death by a son, Patrick John Dougherty, and five siblings.

<B>DOUGHERTY</B> — Friends of Olive R. Rodgers Dougherty, who died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Glade Mills, with the Rev. Dan Maurer, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Middlesex Methodist Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Holy Sepulcher Church Building Fund, 1304 E.
