Schlumberger, Riegger

An Oct. 4 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Amber Schlumberger and Douglas Rieger.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen and Roger Zier of Sarver and Robert Schlumberger of Hudson, N.H. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joel and Sandra Rieger of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1993 graduate of Alvirne High School and a 1997 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree. She is employed by the Lakevue Athletic Club in Valencia.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Slippery Rock High School and in 1999 from the New Castle School of Trades. He works for Carpenter's Union Local 1233 in Pittsburgh.
