Richard C. Frederick
Richard C. Frederick, 56, of Oakland died Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Aug. 1, 1951, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late William J. and Mae Stanley Frederick.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Frederick was a home appliance repairman, carpenter and general handyman. He loved to collect and fix various items. He also was an artist, creatively sketching and drawing collages.
He was the brother of Wilma J. Galliker of Johnstown, Gladys R. Shorr of Washington state and Michele L. (James) Shotton of Houston, Texas, and cousin of Janice A. (Ronald) Ewing of Valencia. Also surviving is his dear friend, Shelly Benjamin of Carnegie.
