Harry Joseph Nolte, 50, of Freeport Road died at 2:36 a.m. Sunday at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 12, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of the late Robert Joseph Nolte and the late Millie Marie Emery.

Mr. Nolte was the owner/mechanic for Harry's Automotive.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. He also belonged to the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club, the Evans City Sportsman Club, the NRA, the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers and the National Federation of Independent Business.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars and sports.

Surviving are his wife, E. Jean Zedreck Nolte, who he married March 21, 1992; a son and his wife, Evan and Laura Nolte of Virginia; a son, Christopher Zedreck at home; two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Melissa Zedreck) Timblin of Butler and Nicole Zedreck at home, and two grandchildren, Drevan Coughenour of Butler, and Ash Nolte of Hilliards; and four step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and their wives, Robert and Sandra Nolte of Harmony and Albert and Linda Nolte of Butler; a sister, M. Marie Leith of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Amanda, and a granddaughter, Angel.

<B>NOLTE</B> — Friends of Harry Joseph Nolte, who died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in America with the Rev. H. Curtis McDaniel officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler Public Library, 218 N.
