Carbin, Udovich

An Aug. 16 wedding is being planned by Alicia Carbin of Virginia Beach, Va. and Erik Udovich of Hampton, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bernard Jr. and Alice Carbin of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are G. William and Linda Udovich of Chesapeake, Va.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a degree in architectural engineering. She works for Clark Nexsen Architecture and Engineering in Norfolk, Va.

Her fiancé graduated in 1997 from Lowville Central High School and in 2000 from Clarkson University, earning a degree in chemical engineering. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration at The College of William and Mary. He is employed by the Northrop Grumman Newport News ship-building company in Newport News, Va.
