Anthony L. Kasun

Anthony L. Kasun, 88, formerly of Ellwood City, died Saturday at the Edison Manor Nursing Home, New Castle.

Born in Blair County, Dec. 2, 1919, he was the son of Anton and Antonia Stiener Kasun.

He retired in 1981 from the Babcock & Wilcox Tube Co., Beaver Falls.

Mr. Kasun was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church, Ellwood City.

Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Judy and Jack Kondrasuk of Ellwood City and JoAnne and Donald Frazier of Chambersburg; two sisters and their spouses, Ann and John Mitchell of Beaver and Margaret and Walter Saiko of New Brighton; and five grandchildren.

His wife, Alvina Tavern Kasun, who he married in October 1947, died May 22, 1987.He also was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, George, John and Frank Kasun; two half- brothers, Nick and Steve Steiner, and a sister, Mary Dolmovich.

<B>KASUN</B> — Friends of Anthony L. Kasun, who died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Samuel Teolis Funeral Home</B>, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Church, Ellwood City. Burial will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
