Barr, Houghton
An Oct. 11 wedding is being planned by Maryanne Barr of Norfolk, Va., and Jeremy Houghton of Narberth.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Adella Barr of Mars. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Donald Houghton of Bucksport, Maine, and Peg Houghton of Easthampton, Mass.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 2007 graduate of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, where she earned a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is currently completing a pharmacy practice residency with Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk.
Her fiancé graduated in 1994 from Hampshire Regional High School and in 1998 from Villanova University. He works as the manager of information technology at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
