Clarion University freshman dies in fire
CORSICA, Pa. — A student at Clarion University has been killed at a fire at her family's home.
A state police fire marshal is investigating the fire that killed Bethany Marie Smith, 18, who died Saturday morning at Clarion Hospital.
The fire was reported at the family's home in Clarion Township about 5 a.m. Saturday. Smith was a freshman who lived near the school's campus.
