What is the necessity for cable that makes it less of a luxury than Internet? I think that in many ways the Internet is used for luxury, though I can say that I use it often for researching things for my job, for communication, and for shopping, which I never do with my cable. It is purely for entertainment. I do find myself, more often than not, wondering how I can have over 50 channels and not be able to find anything to watch. I know, I know, I choose to keep it. On another note, anyone know how to hook up the new DVD players that don't have the colfax cable? Is there an adapter out there for it? I purchased a new player and had to return it because they only work with TVs that have digital cable. They have ones out there that will work but they won't record without the digital connection. The people at the stores don't seem to know much about it.
