Williams 60th anniversary
Charles "Bud" and Jane Williams of Center Township celebrated 60 years of marriage Wednesday.
The former Jane Waldenmyer married Williams Dec. 19, 1947, at Findleyville Presbyterian Church.
They have two daughters, Dawne Blazevich of Monroeville and Jody Williams of Cranberry Township. Another daughter, Sue Williams Carnevale is deceased.
They also have four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Williams is retired from Butler School District where he worked as a teacher and a coach. He also worked as a teacher and coach in Moniteau School District. He is a former member of the Armco and Oakview golf clubs and a current member of the Esquire Club and the Butler Elks.
Mrs. Williams is also retired. She is a life member of the Maqueda Chapter 421 of Order of the Eastern Star, the Good Samaritan Shrine 32 of Butler and the Butler Elks Auxiliary. She also serves as a volunteer and member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and as a member of the Sunrise and Lake Arthur ladies golf leagues.
The couple belongs to West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church. They enjoy golfing.
