Harasty, Longdon
Kayla Harasty of Clarksville and Robert Longdon of Saxonburg were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 7 at Roebling Park in Saxonburg. The bride's mother, Mayor Cathleen Harasty, officiated. A reception followed at Cooper Hall at Roebling Park.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Cathleen Harasty of Clarksville. Parents of the bridegroom are Evelyn Longdon of Saxonburg and the late Ivan Longdon Jr.
The bride was presented for marriage by her parents.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister Amanda Harasty of Nashville, Tenn., and the matron of honor was Stacie Cass Harasty of Richmond, Va. Samantha Caprini of Deemston served as a bridesmaid.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Andrew Regrut of Saxonburg. Ushers included Matthew Cypher of Sarver, the bride's brother Matthew Harasty of Richmond and Christopher Eckel of Lynchburg, Va.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Brownsville High School and a 2007 graduate of California (Pa.) University.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Knoch High School. He works for First Commonwealth Bank and R.E. Longdon Company.
Following a honeymoon trip to Erie and Pittsburgh, the couple is making their home in Saxonburg.
