Tuesday — Francis Thompson said his brown 2001 Ford Ranger pickup with the Pennsylvania license plate YPK6561 was stolen between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday from the driveway of his Euclid Road home in Clay Township.
Wednesday — A donation jar for the family of a youngster in need of eye surgery was stolen between 7:20 p.m. Tuesday and 6:15 a.m. Wednesday in a break-in at the Plaza Pantry on Water Street in East Brady. There was about $115 in the jar.10:20 p.m. Sunday — Thomas Vorpe, 50, and Christie Crissman, 53, both of Templeton, were arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in separate traffic stops at East First and Bridge streets in East Brady.
Dec. 4 — Sharleen Rose Johnston of Slippery Rock reported someone entered the back door of her home and stole her purse. Several credit cards and $35 in cash were in the bag. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.Dec. 9 — Stephen Kurz, 27, of Grove City was charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle was seen traveling the wrong way on one-way Midway Alley and then crossing the centerline on South Main Street.
Dec. 4 and 5 — Susan L. Reppart, 40, of Grove City was charged Dec. 4 with writing bad checks and theft by deception. Charges stem from an incident where she wrote a check to the Grove City borough for a utility payment on a closed account.And on Dec. 5, she was charged with two counts of bad checks and one count of theft by deception. Reppart passed a check on Oct. 25 at BiLo Market in Grove City from a closed bank account for $29.89 and also passed a check for $22.35 on Oct. 16 at the same location.10:37 a.m. Dec. 5 — Terra Nova House of Grove City reported one of its signs was vandalized by someone who spray-painted a white star on it. Anyone with information may call the Grove City Police Department.Tuesday — Brandi L. Holtz, 29, of Franklin, formerly of Grove City, was charged with writing a bad check at Agway on Aug. 19, 2006, for $205.60.
