Tuesday — Kenneth Myers Jr. reported that within the past two days someone took the Pennsylvania license plate YAF5516 off his truck parked in front of his New Castle Street home.
9 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Gregory Isacco, 24, of Karns City struck a guardrail, traveled down an embankment and rolled onto its roof along Route 38 in Washington Township. Isacco had undisclosed injuries.3:25 a.m. Tuesday — Salina Chilson, 26, of Boyers was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car crashed into an embankment and rolled over along Route 38 in Venango Township. Chilson, who was thrown from the car, was treated for moderate injuries at the Grove City Medical Center.Tuesday — William Sherwin reported that between 5 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday a red, 1998 Ford Windstar van was stolen from Bruin Road home in Parker Township.Monday — Glen Norman reported that between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Monday apair of 10-inch stereo speakers and a checkbook were stolen from his car at the Park and Ride lot at Route 488 and Stanford Road in Muddy Creek Township.1:08 a.m. Friday — Mark Anthony Foran, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUIon Route 8 near Mercer Road in Center Township.1 a.m. Friday — William J. Bergbigler, 36, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Hendricks and Spring Run Road in Center Township.<B>State Police, Mercer</B>3:45 p.m. Monday — A Grove City man was injured in a chain-reaction crash on Route 173 near Browntown Road in Liberty Township.The crash occurred when a car driven by James C. Davison, 22, of Grove City struck the rear of another car driven by Sara Poppovich, 21, of North Lawrence, Ohio. The collision pushed Poppovich's car into the rear of a pickup truck driven by John McGallis, 57, of Grove City.McGallis, a police report said, suffered minor injuries.
10:03 a.m. Dec. 4 — A vehicle driven by Laura Carlantonia, 32, of Slippery Rock was stopped at a stop sign on Green Lane. She attempted to turn onto West Beaver Street and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Leigh Byner, 24, of Evans City Road, Zelienople. No injuries were reported.
