The book sales will increase because the film has been released. The book does not dumb down the ending. The thing is that most parents, after seeing the film, will not know what the real ending is and will not hesitate to purchase the book series, as we all want our children to read. The film and the book will not be the same. Nobody told you not to go and see it. They just warned YOU-the one who is responsible for your children-what the undertones are. What you do with the warning is your choice. Obviously, the warning was not meant for you but for someone that might take interest in what their children are being exposed to, whether they catch on or not to the undertones of the movie. You believe that what is wrong with this country is that a couple of people warned people about a movie? Buddy, what is wrong with this country is that people don't have morals and values anymore and don't care about the difference between right or wrong. YOU are the adult in your household that chooses what you want your children to be exposed to. Unfortunately for them, they are going to grow up thinking that people that talk about religion or what they believe to be right are fruitcakes.
