Burke

Doretha Burke of Karns City celebrated her 95th birthday recently with a family dinner at Garden Gate Restaurant in Prospect.

The former Doretha McIntyre was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Hillville. She married Daniel Burke Oct. 15, 1930. He is deceased.

She has four children, Ken Burke, Alice Barger and Leo Burke, all of Karns City, and Rose Dunkle of Butler. She also has nine granddaughters, 16 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, two step-granddaughters and a number of step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. Agreat-grandson is deceased.

Mrs. Burke is a homemaker.

She is a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend and the Bradys Bend Senior Center.
