Matt Vogt scored 13 points and C.J. Brown added 11 as the Seneca Valley boys basketball team emerged with a 56-48 win over Grove City in the championship game of the Kiser Classic Saturday night.

Don Fitzpatrick added 10 for the Raiders, who are off to a 2-0 start.

Grove City (1-1) played catch-up from the start, trailing 25-18 at halftime.

The Eagles made a second-half push keyed by Maxx Stutz, who scored a team-high 13 points, but watched their rally fall short.

Ryan McNamara added 12 points and Kyle Perrine 11 for Grove City.
