6:39 p.m. Sunday — Warren James Green, 22, of Herman was arrested after police allegedly found him with several hypodermic needles in his pants pocket outside an East Jefferson Street convenience store.Apolice report said Green briefly resisted being arrested and also initially lied about his identity. Police charged him with false identification to law enforcement authorities, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.Green was placed in the Butler County Prison on a probation violation.9:40 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Kristopher Collins, 26, of Oakland Township struck a utility pole after sliding off snow-covered Morton Avenue at Walker Avenue.4:13 a.m. Saturday — Joshua Meehan, 24, ofButler was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck a utility pole at Mercer and New Castle streets. Police said Meehan was also cited for driving with a suspended license and careless driving.

2:34 a.m. Saturday — Anna Meshanko, 23, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 near Catalpa Road in Donegal Township.1:33 a.m. Saturday — Jordon Paris, 20, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 8 in Clay Township.9:30 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Richard Alwine, 34, of Saxonburg struck a utility pole along Saxonburg Road in Summit Township. Police said Alwine, who was reading the display on his cell phone when he lost control of his car, was cited for careless driving and not wearing a seat belt.3:18 p.m. Friday — Donald Brewer, 71, no address given, was not injured after his sport utility vehicle struck a deer and then an embankment before rolling over three times on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.11:12 a.m. Friday — Atruck driven by Justin L. Palmer, 28, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Annette Hartman, 60, of Butler collided on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. Robert Hartman, 73, of Butler, a passenger in the car, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.9 p.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Anthony Kormick, 17, of Butler crashed at Aspen and Elm roads in Fairview Township. Police said Kormick was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

10 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by James Peters Jr., 42, of Emlenton crashed into a utility pole along Route 38 near Panther Spring Road in Richland Township.

11:20 p.m. Friday — Someone driving a green Jeep Cherokee collided with a vehicle driven by Elizabeth J. Shumaker, 50, of Manorville on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township.The unknown driver of the Jeep did not stop and is believed to have exited at Slate Lick. The vehicle may have front-end damage. Anyone with information should call police at 724-543-2011.

8:55 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by April Getson, 20, of Erie crashed into a ditch on one side of Tower Road in Springfield Township before traveling back onto the road and into a ditch on the opposite side of the road. Police said Getson was cited for careless driving.
