Christine Benoit
Christine M. Benoit, 80, of Saxonburg died Wednesday at the Valencia Woods Nursing Center.
Born Dec. 13, 1926, in Mon-chen-gladbach, Germany, she was the daughter of Gustave and Christine Cramer Heyman.
She had been a clerk at the Butler Auto Auction.
Mrs. Benoit was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church on Freeport Road.
She enjoyed playing cards.
Surviving are her husband, John Benoit, who she married March 4, 1967; a son, Ernest (Katie) Hinderliter of Winter Park, Fla.; a daughter, Carol (Jim) McCrea of Sarver; two sisters, Hilda Ferguson and Catherine (Dante) Charlett, both of Saxonburg; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, Jess Hinderliter, who died July 30, 1955, and a brother, Gustave Heyman.
<B>BENOIT </B>— Friends of Christine M. Benoit, who died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Hartman, her church pastor, officiating.
