Melhorn, Connors

A May 17 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Amber Melhorn and Richard Connors.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff Melhorn of Chicora and Penny Sprayberry of St. Petersburg, Fla. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Kathleen Connors of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Brazoswood High School and a 2006 graduate of Butler County Community College, where she received an associate's degree. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree and is employed at American Legion Post 117 in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and attended Butler Vocational-Technical School. He is employed at Butler Tire in Butler.
