The Angel Tree in the narthex at Zion United Methodist Church, Bear Creek Road, Sarver, has a few angels remaining. Volunteers may take a tag, purchase the gifts indicated and return wrapped gifts to the tree by noon Dec. 9. The identification label should be securely fixed to each wrapped package. Those unable to shop may make a monetary donation to the Hope Center. Donation envelopes are on the tree. All donations are used to purchase Christmas gifts for children from crisis families in our local area.Sign-up sheets are posted in the Narthex and on Donna Scholl's door for Brunch with Santa to be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 8. Registration is due Sunday. The program is open to children in grade 3 and younger.Paper products and stocking stuffers are being collected through Dec. 9 for the Cabot Food Bank.
