McCafferty, Schlobohm
Amanda McCafferty and William Schlobohm, both of Butler, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. J. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the American Legion in Lyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Ruth McCafferty of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Kelly Schlobohm of Butler and the late William Schlobohm.
The honor attendant was Ashlee McCafferty of Butler. Bridesmaids included Crystal Baumgart of Butler; Rachel Farabee of Greenville, S.C.; and Mary Peters of Plano, Texas.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Beals of Butler. Ushers included Seph Schlobohm of Charleston, S.C.; Tom Goodge of Greensburg; and Adam Tallen of Lithia, Fla.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of the Community College of Allegheny County. She works as an ultrasound technologist at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Butler High School. He served in the Air Force for four years and is currently a student at Butler County Community College. He works at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Center Township.
