Schaper

Joan M. Schaper, 62, of Butler died Wednesday at the home of her sister. She had previously lived in Pittsburgh for 32 years.

Born April 25, 1945, in Lyndora, she was a daughter of the late John "Butch" and Mildred M. Snyder MeKruit.

She was a 1963 graduate of Butler High School and had worked as a medical secretary for years in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia L. Simons of Butler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schaper Sr., who died Feb. 25, 2005.

<B>Schaper</B> — Private services for Joan M. Schaper, who died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, were held for her family. Burial was in Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
