Spence, Van-Gehuchten
Jennyrose Spence and John VanGehuchten, both of Annapolis, Md., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 15 at Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg. The Rev. John Forster officiated. A reception followed at the Armstrong Farms.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen Hepler and Lauryl Spence of Sarver and the late John Spence. Parents of the bridegroom are Jan and Linda VanGehuchten of Sarver.
The maid of honor was Sonja Kassal. Bridesmaids included Eileen Doty and Zeynep Karacal. The flower girl was Kelly Marie Spence.
Performing the duties of best man was Colin Reilly. Ushers included Graham Bier and Eric VanGehuchten.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of St. Joseph High School; a 2003 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in violin and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Music, where she earned a master of arts degree in violin. She works as a professional violinist in the Washington, D.C., area.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Freeport High School and in 2005 from Penn State University, earning a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He works as a civil engineer for McCrone in Annapolis.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Grand Canyon, the couple is making their home in Annapolis.
