Adele Guillory Welsh
Adele Celeste Guillory Welsh, 77, of Natrona died Sunday at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer.
Born in Brackenridge, Dec. 28, 1929, she was the daughter of Jack and Velma Rykaczewski Guillory.
She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1948 and worked at the G.C. Murphy Co. in Tarentum until her marriage.
Mrs. Welsh was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Natrona.
She enjoyed knitting, cooking and reading.
Surviving are three sons, Kevin and Jack Welsh, both of Natrona Heights, and Brian Welsh of Freeport; four daughters, Shelly Murdock of Allegheny Township, Julie Klemens of Natrona Heights, Mary Kay Heinle of Cabot and Patricia Welsh of Evans City; and 15 grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Robert Guillory of New Kensington; two nieces and five nephews.
She married her high school sweetheart, John T. Welsh, in 1950. He died in 1984. She also was preceded in death by a sister.
<B>WELSH</B> — Friends of Adele Celeste Guillory Welsh, who died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home</B>, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. Ablessing service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona.
