Beckert, Whitling
Jennifer Beckert of Middlesex Township and Thomas Whitling Jr. of Wexford were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 7 at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Middlesex Township. The Rev. Daniel Maurer officiated. A reception followed at The Chadwick.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Sandy Beckert of Middlesex Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Sandy Whitling of Butler and the late Tom Whitling Sr.
The honor attendant was Kim Luzell of Chicago. Bridesmaids included Amy Filo of Pittsburgh, Shannon Show of Slippery Rock; Jodie Frazee of Boston; Jessica Draeger of Butler and Julie Dye of Baltimore. The flower girl was Hannah Huffman of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best men were Justin Kobik and Luke Macurdy, both of Saxonburg. Ushers included Adam Lassinger and John Gengler, both of Saxonburg; Tim Whitling of Butler and Bob Beckert of Vienna, Va. The ring bearer was Braden Huffman of Butler.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mars High School and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for Atria's Restaurant and Tavern in Wexford and as a substitute teacher in the Seneca Valley School District.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Knoch High School and in 2006 from the Radiology and MRIprogram at the Community College of Allegheny County. He works as an MRI technologist at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Middlesex Township.
