The Tisheys in 1947

William and Ruth Tishey of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a trip through wine country near Niagara Falls.

Tishey married the former Ruth Dodds Nov. 8, 1947, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have four children, Tom Tishey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bill Tishey of Greenville, S.C., David Tishey of Atlanta, Ga., and Debbie Lineman of Butler.

They also have 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Tishey is retired from C.T. Dumbaugh and belongs to Carpenter's Local 500 and American Legion Post 117.Mrs. Tishey is a homemaker.
