Donald and Dorothy Shockey

Donald and Dorothy Shockey of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

Shockey married the former Dorothy Montgomery on Sept. 28, 1957, at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights.

They have five children, Katherine Enfield of Albany, N.Y., Alyse Shockey of Jessup, Md., Doug Shockey of Humbolt, Ill., Gregg Shockey of Butler, and Scott Shockey of Savoy, Ill.

They also have six grandchildren.Shockey retired in 1988 from his job at International Harvester in Chicago, Ill.Mrs. Shockey is retired from Kraft, Inc., in Champaign, Ill.
