Hillwig

Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II resident Dorothy Hillwig celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a party in the Haven II activity room with family and friends.

The former Dorothy King was born Nov. 4, 1917, in Chicora. She married Kenneth Hillwig in October of 1940 in New Cumberland, W.Va. He is deceased.

She has two children, Dennis Hillwig of Chambersburg and Jeffrey Hillwig of Parker. She also has four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Hillwig has been at Concordia for six years, since moving from her home in Bruin. Aformer homemaker, she enjoys crocheting, reading and shopping.

Mrs. Hillwig is a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.
