Howard and Marjorie Connell

Howard and Marjorie Connell of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at Shakespeare's restaurant in Ellwood City.

Connell married the former Marjorie Cory Nov. 8, 1957, at the bride's home in Plain Grove.

They have three children, Russell Connell of Slippery Rock, Randall Connell of Butler and Doris Connell of Edison, N.J.Connell is retired from Reznor Heater Co. in Mercer.Mrs. Connell is retired from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.They belong to Wolf Creek United Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.
