Paul and Leona Angert

Paul and Leona Angert of Butler celebrated 55 years of marriage recently with a trip to Las Vegas with longtime friends. They also celebrated with a family dinner.

Angert and the former Leona Rodgers were married Nov. 15, 1952, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where they remain members.

They have one son, Paul Angert of Deptford, N.J. A daughter, Karen Michael, is deceased.

The Angerts also have four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A granddaughter is deceased.

Angert is a veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 117. He retired from Butler Area Sewer Authority in 1991.

Mrs. Angert retired from Heckett MultiServ in 1999.
