Betty J. Mazzanti, 86, of 114 Summit St. died at 5 a.m. today at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Jan. 5, 1921, in Butler, she was the daughter of Thomas and Jean Cavalero Raimondi.

She was a homemaker and had worked at the Spaide Shirt Factory.

Mrs. Mazzanti was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, George A. Mazzanti Sr., whom she married Jan. 5, 1942; a son, George A. Mazzanti Jr. of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Diana) Zirnsak of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Marchinoski of Butler; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Mazzanti, who died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
