Alberth, 47, of Fombell, Beaver County was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on North Main Street.

9:37 p.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Charles McPherson, 61, of Butler and a car driven by Jennifer Christie, 20, of Fenelton collided at South Clearfield and Old Route 422 East in Clearfield Township. Police said McPherson was cited for a stop sign/yield sign violation.5:48 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Melinda Miller, no age given, and a pickup truck driven by George Frederick, no age given, both of Chicora, collided on Thorn Run Road in Oakland Township. Both drivers suffered unknown injuries. Police said Miller was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.5:15 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Brenda J. Hess, 44, of Cabot struck a deer on Route 422 East near Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.2:25 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Patrick M. Murphy, 82, and a pickup driven by Regis Scherer, 74, both of Butler, collided on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Murphy was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.7:10 a.m. Monday — JeffreyTedeski, 22, of Kittanning swerved his car to avoid a deer and struck a guardrail on Route 422 near Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.

Tuesday — Police reported someone July 1 filed a tax return using the Social Security number of Roger William Walker of South Buffalo Township and had his $835 tax return mailed to another address.4:02 p.m. Monday — A van driven by Carra Drotleff, 26, of Evans City and a sport utility vehicle driven by Patricia Corna, 67, of Vandergrift collided at Spruce Hollow and Myers roads in Bethel Township. Corna was treated for minor injuries at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.
