Andy Knauff scored on a penalty kick as the Mars boys soccer team defeated South Park 1-0 in the WPIAL Class AA third-place game at Shaler High Thursday.

With the win, the Planets (18-3-1) have qualified for the PIAAplayoffs, which begin next week. The 18 wins are the most for a Planets team.

South Park finished the season 13-10-1, losing its two playoff games by identical 1-0 scores.
