Are you seriously a teacher? And you call yourself a "good" teacher? Did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason (some..not all) of those students that are getting bad grades, or missing school may have something else going on in their life that is preventing them from learning or even able to cope with school in general? Maybe they are being abused at home to the point that they cannot even think at school. Just because you give them the materials, and your little skills, doesn't mean a damn thing. Look beyond the small picture frame you have in your face. There are many kids out there, who are not as fortunate as you were..that are struggling with their own lives. Maybe these kids are not getting counsling for there problems, because the parents are the ones abusing their kids. No one ever stops to think about this..someone misses school, or they get bad grades and you automatically think..it's because the kid doesn't want to learn. HOW DARE YOU..you are a disgrace to the teaching profession. I don't care what kind of education you think you have, it's obvious that you have no common sense. You may be book smart, but you are really lacking street smarts. SHAME ON YOU!
