Walter and Lois Mae Swarmer

Walter and Lois Mae Swarmer of Valencia celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Springfield Grille in Adams Township.

The former Lois Mae Klingensmith married Swarmer on Oct. 31, 1947, at the Freeport Gospel Tabernacle in Freeport.

They have three children, Barbara Willis of Saxonburg and Walter Swarmer and Robert Swarmer, both of Gibsonia.

They also have nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Swarmer is a retired plumber.

Mrs. Swarmer is a homemaker and a retired licensed practical nurse.

The couple belongs to Crossway Church of the Assemblies of God. They serve as RV volunteers for the Mission America Placement Service.
