Anna Daugherty of Butler celebrated her 101st birthday with a family dinner at Sunnyview Home.

The former Anna Christie was born Oct. 27, 1906. She married Anthony Daugherty on Feb. 5, 1929. He is deceased.

She has 10 children, Dorothy Snyder, Mary Ann Strong, Anna Sweeney, Edward Daugherty, Betty McClemans, Donna Weiland, Doris Stephenson, James Daugherty, Mary Jane Furey and Peggy Brainerd. Ason, Anthony Daugherty Jr., is deceased. She also has 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Daugherty is a homemaker.

She belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
