Paul Russell Jones Jr., 61, of Roseboro, N.C., died Sunday at the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, N.C.

He was a native of Karns City and retired from the Air Force after 23 years. He also retired from the Department of Defense as a special agent.

Surviving are his wife, Lilia Jones; a daughter; a son; four grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Seybert and her husband, Ed, of Karns City.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Jones.

<B>JONES </B>— A memorial service for Paul Russell Jones Jr., who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, was today at the <B>Butler Funeral Home</B> in Roseboro.
