Marilyn Fischer
Marilyn Louise Fischer, 65, died Friday at Woodcliffe Manor in Bethel Park following a long illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Charlotte Fischer and the stepdaughter of the late Lois Barber Fischer.
She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Slippery Rock University. She was a lifelong advocate for animal rights and had her poetry featured in numerous publications.
She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Dietz and LisaTempalski, and six grandchildren, Alec Boyer, Grace Dietz, and Isabel, Rachel, Owen and Wyatt Tempalski.
<B>Fischer</B> — Graveside services for Marilyn Louise Fischer, who died on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 1460 Penn Ave., Wilkinsburg.
