Kradel

Walter W. Kradel Sr., 76, of Butler died at 8 a.m. Saturday at his home.

Born June 2, 1931, in Butler, he was the son of Walter Adam and Nellie Naomi Lardin Kradel.

He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mr. Kradel was an Army veteran of the Korean War and had been a delivery man for the Furniture Galleries for 20 years.

He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, hunting and working outside.

Surviving are a son, Walter "Bill" Kradel Jr. of Butler; a daughter, Tammy L. Sutton of Butler; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, and a brother.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Fair Kradel; twin daughters, Peggy Kradel and Patty Doerr; a sister, and two brothers.

<B>KRADEL</B> — Friends of Walter W. Kradel Sr., who died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Robert Zimmerman, MDiv., officiating.
