Laurene Coast, 83, of North Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday.

She was born March 4, 1924, in Coaltown, Cherry Township.

She moved to North Port, Fla., in 1978 from Warren, Ohio, and in 2004, she moved to Fort Myers.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Doris Jean Lowe and her husband, Jeff, of North Fort Myers, Denise Ann Kelm and her husband, David, of North Port and Georgia Lee Pierce and her husband, Jack, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; four grandchildren, Timothy Cochran of Colorado, Army Sgt. Michael Coast and Justin and Carley Pierce; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Chase Cochran.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Coast.
