Cecelia V. Franek, 79, of Butler died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born in Butler, June 1, 1928, she was the daughter of John and Nora Szul Beblo.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph A. and James B. Franek, both of Butler; three brothers, George, Bernard and Leo Beblo, all of Butler; two sisters, Victoria and Bertha Beblo, both of Butler; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Franek, who died Jan. 16, 1994. An infant daughter, three brothers, and six sisters also preceded her in death.

Franek, who died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, will be received from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue.
