Moser, Gallo
Pittsburgh residents Melissa Moser and Phillip Gallo were united in marriage at 12:30 p.m. March 31 at Heinz Memorial Chapel at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Dennis Molnar officiated. A reception followed at Bella Vista Ristorante in Mount Washington.
The bride is the daughter of Jean Moser of Butler and the late Donald Moser Jr. Mother of the bridegroom is Marcia Gallo of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School and a 2002 graduate of Penn State University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Baldwin High School, in 2001 from Penn State University and in 2006 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a doctoral degree in biological sciences. He works in the Center for Genomic Sciences at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The couple is making their home in Baldwin. They are planning a honeymoon trip to France and Italy in November.
