Carabin, Lasko
Leslie-Ann Carabin of Plum and Brian Lasko of Sarver were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. April 21 at St. Vincent Basilica in Latrobe. The Revs. Peter Pilarski and Matthew Ciricci officiated. A reception followed at the Greensburg Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of George and Carol Ann Carabin of Plum. Parents of the bridegroom are Randy and Kathy Lasko of Sarver.
The honor attendant was Alexis Peffer of Plum. Bridesmaids included the Krissey Lloyd of Durham, N.C.; Michelle Lasko of Sarver; Meghan Roe of Plum; Kaitlyn Sylves of Washington Township; Erin Howley of West Mifflin; and the groom's sisters, Kristy Tully of Mars and Amy Postupack of Lower Burrell. The flower girl was Alexandra Lasko of Sarver.
Serving his brother as best man was Jeffrey Lasko of Sarver. Ushers included the bride's brother George Carabin of Honolulu, Christopher Tully of Mars, Douglas Postupack of Lower Burrell, Brian Beale of Freeport, Ryann Bradley of South Park, Matthew Shento of Canonsburg and Mike Katie of Sarver. The ring bearer was Nicholas Flemm of North Huntingdon.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Plum High School; a 2004 graduate of St. Vincent College, where she earned a bachelor's degree; and a 2006 graduate of St. Francis University, where she earned a master's degree. She works as a plastic surgery physician's assistant at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Freeport High School; in 2004 from St. Vincent College, earning a bachelor's degree; and in 2006 from Seton Hill University, earning a master's degree in business administration. He works as the health and safety manager for Creekside Mushrooms in Worthington.
Following a honeymoon trip to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Lower Burrell.
