James Ryan Seago, 31, of Hoover, Ala., departed this life Sunday at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Ala.

Born July 1, 1976, in Butler, he was a son of Richard L. and Kathy A. Weigle Seago of Hoover.

He was the owner of Signature Paint and Pressure Washing, Hoover.

Mr. Seago was active in the Shades Mountain Ball Association and Round One Boxing.

He attended the Homewood Church of Christ, Birmingham.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, James Parker Seago at home; a brother, Daniel Seago of Chelsea, Ala.; a sister, Christina King and her husband, Edward, of Rockville, Md.; and his maternal grandparents, Edwin "Bud" and Betty Wade Weigle of Middlebourne, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Helen Seago.
