N. Margaret Wetzel Hill, 92, of Buffalo Township died Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg, where she was a resident for 18 months.

Born in Winfield Township, Sept. 25, 1914, she was the daughter of Charles and Annie Ferne Wetzel.

She lived in the Freeport area all her life and was a 1933 graduate of Butler High School.

Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, doing puzzle books and spending time with her family and granddaughters. She also enjoyed playing piano

She was a member of the Freeport United Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and belonged to the Women's Missionary Society. She was a past matron of the Freeport Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the South Buffalo Grange and a volunteer for the Freeport Meals on Wheels and the Allegheny Valley Hospital Homes Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Janet Kay Hill of Plum; a son, Wilbur J. Hill (Pat) of Buffalo Township; three granddaughters, Amy Hill, Judy Herndon (Gary) and Lisa Ann Case; two great-grandchildren, Chad and Emily Herndon; and several nieces and nephews

Her husband, Ralph H. Hill, died Dec 27, 2001, after 65 years of marriage. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Mary McWilliams; and four brothers, Charles, Ed, Otto and John Wetzel.

Margaret Wetzel Hill, who died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Krynicki Funeral Home</B>, 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Mumaw II, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.An Eastern Star service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
